Principal® Expands Digital Self-Service Investing Access
Customers will now have full web-based access to over 50 financially funds to reach their investing goals
Kuala Lumpur, 9 March 2022 – Principal Asset Management (“Principal”) announced today an expansion of its web-based investment services allowing customers to better manage their portfolio from anywhere. The self-service investment portal from Principal will be an effective tool in helping people feel more secure as they strive to build up savings and reach their financial goals. This customer-facing solution will broaden accessibility to Principal’s investment services for Malaysian individual investors.
Investors are now able to digitally tap into the retirement and asset management expertise from Principal and invest using cash or their EPF funds, empowering them to take greater control of their investments.

Principal is committed to helping more people achieve their financial goals, by offering more than 50 funds on their investment portal which includes conventional and shariah-compliant funds with a minimum initial investment of RM500. In conjunction with the introduction of the portal, 0% sales charge applies to all existing and new investors and the first 1,000 investors to start investing will receive a welcome reward of RM50. This promotion is applicable until 31 March 2022.
Complementing conventional distribution channels, including Principal branches, consultants and bank distributors, the investment portal allows investors to buy, switch and redeem unit trust funds anytime, anywhere.
